- An exact Genetic Hybrid between an American Coyote and Canadian Timber Wolf, Coy-Wolves (Eastern Coyotes) are known to biologists as the smartest and most adaptive predator in North America. They have been radio collared and are known to roam city streets at night, unknown to a slumbering human population, which from time to time, wake-up to find their dog or cat missing from the back yard.

- Rodents play an integral role in the life-cycle of Ticks. Far more important than birds, rodents are territorial and continue the pathogen-vector relationship which is then passed on to larger hosts (mainly deer) for the final act. The adult female tick feeds one last time, then drops off and lays thousands of eggs.....then she dies. The tick eggs hatch, the tick larvae are picked-up by rodents, and the life-cycle starts all over again.

Deer Abatement & Driveway Access
Driveway Access is often the most overlooked element in the entire process of planning and implementation of an effective deer fence perimeter. This automated gate was installed in 2010 in Tuxedo Park, NY with 2,000 linear feet of deer fence. The gate operator is a 24 volt system with battery back-up. This beautiful property has been Deer-Free and tick counts down dramatically.
Re-Training Deer
Most of the time, re-training deer to avoid a given area is not extremely difficult. As long as proper materials/installation for the particular property and calculated/predicted deer pressure are accounted for, deer abatement is quite achievable. Deer Fence is the single most effective step a property owner can take to reduce tick counts.
